Okay, so as my next project, I am planning to fix the FPS playback issue. What is that issue? Different frame rates result in different playback speeds, which keeps us from knowing how fast the rider is actually going. So this new engine will have a mathematical equation inside of it that will allow the game itself to adjust to the appropriate speed so no matter what fps it's running at, any computer will still display the same time. I will also add a "Throttle" display that will show, in a way, how much effort your PC has to put in to make it run at the same speed.
Basically this is what I'm adding.
-120 fps, This will allow your com/mac to run this at maximum potential
-auto speed fps adjust (I just explained that)
-Original UI, since no one can seem to agree on any improved UI's Ive came up with, so I'm going to have to brainstorm more.
-Throttle percentage display. This will show up as a percentage. The lower the number, the better. (According to my math, the lowest possible is -77% at a perfect 120 fps, while 1 fps is 3900%)
Pros
-Full power applied to game
-All pc's will show the same speed no matter what
-Smexy smooth playback
cons
-will not work on pc's that can't handle 40 fps, so basically, if your pc is slow, don't get this
-Line glitching may be impossible.
So just a heads up, and feel free to submit some UI ideas to help improve the game!
