I used to have a very old computer my dad gave me when I was 4 with only 256 MB of RAM, from the 90s. Ran Mac OS 8. :O

i was looking through pcworld's refurbished comp's... i saw a gaming comp with 12GB ram, liquid cooling, and 1TB memory... $2000

Macs don't need that much ram. Windows hog power, so my computer is running slower than yours.
the scary thing is the tech show cali watches said you should have at LEAST TWO gigs to run vista if NOT 4 gigs.

macs are better for performance, and stability, but windows are better for pretty much everything else (programming, compatibility, sheer power, etc.)
